1

Tree felling -- safe even at difficult locations

Not every tree can simply be toppled. If it stands close to a building, near a road or among other trees, special felling techniques are required. In such cases, we use rope climbing techniques: the tree is dismantled from the top piece by piece, each branch lowered on ropes in a controlled manner. This allows us to safely remove even large trees in confined locations without damaging buildings, fences or neighbouring properties. Our team is experienced, trained and equipped with professional gear.

2

Stump grinding and site preparation

After felling, the tree stump remains -- often an obstacle for further use of the area. With our stump grinder, we remove the root stock below ground level. The area can then immediately be planted, paved or used for other purposes. For clearing work ahead of new construction projects, we clear entire areas: trees, shrubs, roots -- everything is removed, the terrain levelled and handed over ready to build.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can I simply fell a tree on my property?

This depends on your municipality's tree protection regulations. We advise you and support with any applications needed.

Can you fell large trees close to buildings?

Yes, in confined spaces we use rope climbing techniques and dismantle the tree section by section.

What happens to the wood?

The wood can remain on your property as firewood or be removed and disposed of by us.

When is the best time for tree felling?

Outside the growing season -- i.e. from October to February -- tree felling is generally unproblematic. Between March and September, stricter rules apply for bird protection. Hazardous trees may be felled year-round.

What does tree felling cost?

Costs depend on tree height, trunk diameter, location and accessibility. Simple felling starts at around 300-500 euros; difficult locations with rope climbing techniques can cost 1,000-3,000 euros. We provide an individual quote.
